The Manitoba Boxing Commission was incorporated under the provisions of the Province of Manitoba by a proclamation dated October 16, 1993. The purpose of the Boxing Commission organization is to regulate professional boxing matches in the Province of Manitoba in accordance with regulations as set out in the Boxing Commission Act. The Commission regulates all contests or exhibitions of boxing and mixed martial arts, including the licensing and supervision of ring officials, boxers, promoters.
